You can tell you teach at a language academy right from the beginning when you include on your Welcome Page "greeting teachers in their own language"! Ni Hao! I also like your idea of starting a Do No Harm culture in your classroom by implementing the three dimensions of "Take Care of Yourself", "Take Care of Each Other", and "Take Care of This Place". I might just adopt that idea from you.
I agree with you that using the 7 Habits would definitely encourage the development and use of choice words amongst your students. Great job on your Prezi Presentation!
You provided so many great ideas for each pillar. I can see how much of an asset you are to our RV family. Thank you for sharing some very insightful suggestions for each pillar.
I really liked how you mentioned in "choice words" how you want to students to use positive words that help them identify themselves. I think many times students only associate negative words with their persona because thats all they focus on (fixed mindset). I think it's really important that all students have some positive words to reinforce who they are.
I love this template. The origami dove fits well with your ideas for building the 7 habits. I especially appreciated your idea about embedding social skills into lessons. I know my 6th graders would benefit from some guidance on self-assessment, learning from their mistakes, and collaboration. I think we tend to expect them to just know how to do those things and forget they need to have experience with those skills under our guidance.
I love how you plan to implement a Do No Harm Culture in your classroom, those three simple principles will make all the difference for your students!
